A great small diner experience. The regulars make small talk with the cook as he works his magic. I sat at the counter and fully enjoyed the experience! I will eat there every time I am passing through Toledo, OH. I did not wait long to be seated.
Food was phenomenal! Huge portions and friendly service ! Ant the cook was super insightful of the menu and catered to every request . The server I believe her name was Tiffany , she was supper outgoing , attentive friendly and had us laughing the whole time . Food was 11/10 , our server was 11/10 and experience overall was priceless . As you can see by the plate picture I had no food leftover aha
If you like a diner with diner food and grill cooked your way along with the old time smell of cooking onions. I had a burger. It was good but it didn't have grilled onion on it. That was a little disappointing. Great diner atmosphere. Brought back old times
I finally decided to bike down here early in the morning and man, it was worth it. Classic small down diner feel in Downtown Toledo. Big coffee mugs, big breakfast plates, and a top-tier staff. I would of loved to step back each decade and visit this place and people watch. Places like this are the keystone to the community
The food was amazing! Everything was made fresh to order and delicious! It felt like i had sat down in my moms kitchen! Our server Sue was very knowledgeable and attentive!
This was our first time visiting Green Lantern and it was wonderful. I ordered a “half and half” burger with one ground beef patty and a sausage patty. It tasted really good and was unlike anything I’ve had before. The patties were thick and the whole thing was very filling. My husband ordered a double cheese burger and added a side of onion rings. The rings were awesome and crunchy. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The other staff were friendly as well. Our food came out at a reasonable time considering they were a little busy during our visit. We will definitely return to try out their breakfast selections.
Best breakfast in Toledo, open all day. Unchanged for decades, clean, great service, reasonable prices, huge portions, tasty comfort food. Visitors to town, do not be put off by the location and exterior's working class vibe. An awesome place with awesome people. So good, I need a nap.
Cozy, local spot for brunch! Good variety of food on the menu too. Enjoyed an omelet w hashbrowns and toast, and hubby had a burger. Great amount of food for the price! Staff was very kind. Cute to see decorations for valentines day. Will be back!
Fantastic place. Old school but very cool. The waitress and owner are fun ladies too. I had the Handy Andy and Mo's Swiss burgers with a side of onion rings. All of it was really good.
Jessica was efficient and so very friendly and personable! Food was some of the best old- fashioned diner food ever! Chunky potatoes, thick slice bacon, sausage gravy with a biscuit ...all was great!
